Playing: A Wasted Hymn by Architects; Memento Mori by Architects
What is this breath?
A reminder of existence?
Tolle in aere.
Nothing lasts forever.
These seasons change.
With this change, we can embrace
Or refuse.
You refuse–
Yet this current has always flowed with you,
For you.
Fluvius per te fluit.
Is this life you live worth dying for?
Waiting for a sign to come
To be the reason you choose to live.
The message in a bottle washing upon a hopeless shore.
These empty waves crash
And it's time to decide:
Would you rather sink or swim?
The light beacons at the horizon.
This breath won't last forever.
Oceanus animarum.

In this void all is grey.
Suspended in space with no gravitational pull
To ground you.
Yet, your body exists;
Animus semper est.
The cosmos will one day
Erase all physical form.

Do you ever notice yourself in this empty space
Hidden here in plain sight?

It's from here we all grow.

Your creator awaits.
How does it feel to be standing at the gates?

What is just a breath?
A thought of what may exist after our last exhale.
Tolle in aere.
A reminder of existence.
A fleeting moment
With the selfish presumption of another.
Do you live a life worth living for?
The light beacons at the horizon,
As these empty waves crash at your feet.
Oceanus animarum.
I hope that one day
Someday
I will see you where this ocean and sky meet.
Memento mori–be mindful of death.
Up you go
